How to Save a Picture to an iPad From Photobucket

An active Internet connection is required to load Photobucket images on the iPad.

Photobucket's free, online image hosting service stores digital pictures for sharing and viewing through a Web browser, and is easily accessible from an iPad as long as you have the correct URL saved in its built-in Safari app. Once a Photobucket picture has been loaded into Safari, saving it to the iPad's Photos application makes it easy to save, share, and store offline.

Step 1Launch the Safari Web browser on your iPad by tapping its icon on the Home screen.

Step 2Tap the address bar at the top of the Safari window and type in the link to the Photobucket picture you want to save. Tap the "Go" button on the keyboard to load the Photobucket page.

Step 3Tap and hold a finger on the picture once the Photobucket page has loaded. Let go when a dialog box appears on the screen.

Step 4Tap the "Save Image" button to save the picture to your iPad's Photos app.
