Microsoft Lumia 430 Now Official! The Cheapest Windows Phone That Costs Just Around $70

After Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia, particularly the Lumia series, the Redmond giant continued its trademark of mid-range and low-ends and revamped it with competitive features.
Yesterday, another Lumia phone was made official for the emerging markets. With a price tag of $70 the Lumia 430 is said to be the cheapest gateway to experience the most anticipated Windows 10.
According to ZDNet, it will be shipped running on Windows 8.1 with the Lumia Denim firmware. Though Microsoft has already announced that Lumia phones currently running on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 can be upgraded to Windows 10. It also clearly noted that "not every phone will support all possible Windows 10 features. Certain features and experiences will require more advanced future hardware".

Furthermore, the Lumia 430 sports a 4.0inch screen display which renders a decent resolution of 800x480 LCD. It houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC, with dual 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 cores. It's processor is coupled with a 1GB of RAM which can keep things run smoothly under the hood.
Microsoft has also obviously upgraded its internal storage on its low-end phones. The Lumia 430 has a chunkier 8GB internal storage onboard compared with the older model's 4GB. Users may also expand the device's memory thru its external memory that can be upgraded up to 128GB which can give more room for storage.
Camera wise, it sports a 2MP fixed-focus shooter without flash and a VGA front camera is 0.3 megapixels.
Though it's a low-end phone, it features an ambient light and proximity sensor, 30 GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive and Microsoft Office that allows access to Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files.
The Lumia 430 will be made available in countries in the Asia and the Pacific region and in the Middle East and Africa as well as India, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus in April.
