I Will Not Steal Public Funds - Osinbajo

A few weeks ago, when a pastor, Prof Osinbajo, was unveiled
as the chosen running mate of the All Progressives Congress
presidential candidate, Rtd. Gen. Muhammad Buhari, political
commentators scrambled to interpret the news.

Most had expected the APC to choose either Babatunde Raji
Fashola, Rotimi Amaechi, Rochas Okorocha or another
prominent politician as Buhari's running mate. So when
Osinbajo, a RCCG pastor and a professor with a clean slate and
clear past, was unveiled to Nigerians on December 17, everyone
was speechless.

The arrival of Osinbajo on the political scene has changed many
things about the way people view Buhari, and while much is
expected of the partnership, many people are reserving
judgement. Osinbajo, however, took to his Twitter page
yesterday to reiterate his pledge to God. See what he tweeted
below:
"I have made a pledge with God, that I will not steal public
funds. Either before, or even as a 'Thank You'." -PYO

Public service is often characterised by embezzlement of funds
and corruption. As the pastor and professor is making his
pledge to God known to the public, do you think it is real or
should it be taken with a pinch of salt?
It will be recalled that just recently, Buhari's daughter took to
her Twitter page to allege that the Peoples Democratic Party
hacked into her account to tweet some grammatical errors.
