How to Get Your MTN number

Recently i had reason to use one of my old MTN sim,which i do not remember the number .I tried my usual way of retrieving it,i.e sending call me back with the sim to my main mtn,unforunately the call me back didnt go through,so i searched for a way to retrieve the number and eventually landed on what am about to share here.
If you find yourself in similar situation where you need to get hold of a particular MTN number,here is the solution to your problem.

Dial *123# SEND then you will receive the main menu of the service displaying services for you to choose from.

To browse the menu, enter the corresponding number of your desired option and press OK.

For example, to fetch your phone number:

• Dial *123# SEND, it will display the following menu:
  Respond with 5 to get Your Number from the network.
  What you should know about this service.
  alternatively,you can dial *123*1*5#  and you will be shown your mtn number
  Each USSD session times out after 90 seconds from the moment you dial *123#. You will have to restart the session when this happens.
  Your responses will be shown on the phone display. Unlike SMS messages, the USSD messages are not saved in your phone memory and cannot be deleted.
