Pep Guardiola heads back to Bayern Munich training with a smile on the day after crashing out of German Cup

Pep Guardiola appeared in a better spirits as he returned to the training ground on the day after his Bayern Munich side crashed out of the German Cup.
The Spaniard cut a discontented figure as Jurgen Klopp raced past him to celebrate Borussia Dortmund’s dramatic penalty shoot-out victory in the cup semi-finals on Tuesday.
Despite not a single player finding the net in the shoot-out, Guardiola refused to blame his players, saying: ‘I’m proud of my team as never before. You can’t criticise your team when they’ve played so well.
