Man who filmed police shooting black motorist considered erasing video

Feidin Santana described why he decided to film the incident which led to a police officer being charged for murder

The bystander whose video footage of a white policeman killing a fleeing black man has horrified America said he knew the importance of what he was filming.
Feidin Santana was on his way to work on Saturday when he saw the encounter between the patrolman and Walter Scott, in a South Carolina park.
He said he took out his mobile phone when he heard the sound of a stungun being discharged. The next four and a half minutes footage caught a dramatically different account of events to those presented by the officer, Michael Slager.
