1. The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation
has said it will drag the spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party
Presidential Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, to court for
alleging that General Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign is being funded by
terrorist groups including Boko Haram, Al-Qaeda and ISIS.

Attempt by the Boko Haram insurgents to recapture Bama in Borno state
was on Saturday repelled by the military. Report has it that several
terrorists were killed in the attack while a soldier was killed.

The All Progressives Congress , APC, has raised a fresh allegation
against Jonathan-led federal government and the ruling Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP). It said there was an ongoing plan to arrest its
national leader, Bola Tinubu and other party chieftains by the Economic
and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, before next Saturday’s election.

The Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese that oversees the adoration
ministry will be meeting with Rev.Father Mbaka today to investigate the
allegation of threat to life levelled against the Jonathan’s government.

Report says unknown gunmen on Friday night kidnapped the Emir of
Bukukuyum in Zamfara State from his palace. Search is currently ongoing
to locate his whereabout.
6. Nigerians who are yet to collect their Permanent Voters Card have only today to do so, as collection of PVC ends today.

Mrs Mna Achumba, one of the most wanted child traffickers in Abia state
has been nabbed by men of the Nigeria police in Akwa Ibom state where
he was hiding.
8. Chadian and Nigerien troops fighting Boko Haram
insurgents in the North-East have alleged that their Nigerian
counterparts have refused to take full control of recaptured areas as
they are afraid. The troops have reportedly begged the Nigeria Army to
take over recaptured towns.
9. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari at a campaign
rally of the APC on Saturday told Nigerians not to make the mistake of
voting for President Jonathan again, considering that the PDP led
government has failed to deliver in its 4 years of ruling.
10.Four
persons have been arrested in connection with the killing of former
Deputy Speaker. The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Gabriel Achong
disclosed this in Uyo on Saturday.
