QPR players clash with fans

Clint Hill and Richard Dunne exchanged angry words with
supporters following QPR's latest away defeat at Burnley.
The home side's 2-1 win left QPR in the bottom three, and
Rangers have now lost every one of their 10 league games
away from Loftus Road this season.
That is a Premier League record, and some travelling fans
made their feelings plain as the players approached the
away end after the final whistle.
Captain Dunne was filmed reacting angrily while Hill, who
has played mroe than 150 games for the club, had to be
pulled away by team-mate Joey Barton and coach Glenn
Hoddle after becoming involved in a slanging match.
Harry Redknapp afterwards played down the incident,
saying: "(Goalkeeping coach) Kevin Hitchcock went over
and took Dunney away - Dunney's a great lad...I don't
know...someone just got the hump.
"He didn't go over there to have a row with anyone. He
went over and started appluding, and someone...I don't
know what happened."
Hill did not comment on the row when he spoke to Sky
Sports News HQ after the game, but the defender admitted
QPR need to improve their away record.
He said: "It's probably just the little details, probably just
a little bounce here and there in the box. We've hit the
post again today. I don't think it's down to a lack of
desire.
"I just think it's that little bit of quality we are lacking and
maybe a little bit of luck as well. But obviously the
statistics say it is 10 defeats. That's not great and you
can't rely on your home form.
"We want to rectify that as quick as we can. It's not nice
coming away from home and getting beat. It's probably
one of the hardest leagues in the world to get something
away from home but maybe just a point here and there will
take the pressure off us at home as well. Sooner rather
than later would be great but at the moment we are licking
our wounds again.
"It's not over. I think there are three or four points
separating about six or seven teams but obviously you
need to nick points away from home. We've been strong at
home and a little point here and there away from home
takes you up another couple of places in the league."
