More US women fall victim to romantic love scam

Lagos - Yet another United States woman has fallen
victim to a love scam initiated by a local fraudster, it
emerged.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
reported it had recovered US$23 886 for Jolanta Kasza,
based in New York.
She was allegedly fleeced $64 000 by a suspected
Nigerian Fraudster, Ndekwu Jindu (alias Dr Daniel
Coffman) in the scam.
Kasza allegedly met Coffman online in June 2012, and
the fraudster introduced himself as self employed
Caucasian pharmacist
Impressed by the profile, Kasza is said to have fallen in
love with both agreeing to get married.
According to her, in the course of the affair, the suspect
at different times requested for money under various
guise.
Before she realised that she was dealing with a con
artist, she had lost the money.
She consequently petitioned the EFCC, which through
discreet investigation recovered $23 886.
The agency said it was in the process of repatriating the
fund to the victim.
Earlier this week, EFCC said it had helped an American
woman, Margaret Sanders, recover $2 000 she had been
swindled by a Nigerian in a love scam.
